After defeating every MVC opponent he faced this season and picking up honorable mention status in the process, Spartan Jared Rickert recently hauled in MVC Wrestler of the Year Award. Congrats to Jared on this latest award.

Jared is a first class wrestler and a fine young man. He has represented Sparta Wrestling and the MVC in the highest traditions. I wish Jared the best in his future endeavors and we hope to see his name wrestling some where in the near future.
