Sparta opens up MVC in 2015 with a home dual against Aquinas. It will also be parent’s night. It was hard finding much information about the Blugolds this year, but here are a few notes on them before tomorrow’s dual.
- No Aquinas wrestlers made the La Crosse Tribune’s wrestling honor roll as of January 4th
- There are zero ranked Aquinas wrestlers according to Wisconsin Wrestling Online
- Melrose-Mindoro/GET defeated Aquinas 54-27 earlier this year
- Aquinas defeated Independence/Gilmanton 48-30 early in the season
- Aquinas defeated DeSoto 42-37 earlier in the season
- Back before Christmas, Dante Pizzini took 4th at 195 at the 16-team Arcadia Scramble, Isiah Brown (182) and Ethan Reid (152) both placed 6th at the same tournament.
