Lessons learned: Don’t let the score affect you after the first period. Just always wrestle like it’s the last seconds of your last match.

I got my start in sports: My older brother Nick. I started in sixth grade.
I wish I could wrestle: Team and Individual State.
My most memorable moment in sports: When I heel-picked JJ Donar to his back at team sectionals.
I enjoy wrestling because: It let’s me be who I am and do what I like.
Advice: Don’t look or research the kids you wrestle before a tournament. Just wrestle your hardest every match.

Man I was born in the Big D back in the 40’s,,
saw so many rock before even Motown… two of my favorites were Jackie Wilson and Jack Scott.
Man I wrestled in a two leg to shoulder strap singlet and our match mat was 4 practice mats together with a canvas covering.. later got one mat….
