Woot Woot!
Begorra, a most rewarding season for the Sparta Wrestling ‘Community’… Sincerely hope many a wrestler continues with the off season action,, always assists in bettering oneself.
To the Coaches great, have a week off then back to planning etc.
Family and friends… all have a great season , hope you all had a most rewarding St. Patrick’s Day.
A real big THANKS of SLAINTE to the Montgomery’s son Derek ( father of the future of wrestling Jax,, and father/ and Grandfather Mont.) for this all encompassing web site!
To all the best of health and happiness.
and still within the Irish season ( as for some of us it is 365 days long)my favorite Irish wish!
‘ may the saddest days of your future
be not worse
than the happiest days of you past”
Begorra,
Major Thomas J. Smith (Ret.)
Thanks Tom! I hope Jax can wrestle, but since wrestling in Duluth means WWE (aka there is no high school wrestling in this city of 90,000) it probably means he’s destined for hockey or basketball if he wants to play sports.
Begorra, well seeing your so close to the Canadian Border ,, hockey..
I still don’t see basketball as a “real” sport!
Slainte,
I agree! The quote on the back of the 1993 Sparta wrestling shirts still rings true for me… “The site I adore, on a basketball floor, are wrestling mats, from door to door.”
