UPDATE: Sparta goes 4-1 at Weyauwega-Freemont Duals

Sparta went 4-1 on the day at the Weyauwega-Freemont Dual Invitational improving their overall record in duals to 10-2 on the season.  Oconto Falls won the tournament going 5-0 on the day.

Sparta 68 – Stratford 12

On the day, the Spartans had the following records:

112 – Adam Simpson – 4-1
119 – Aaron Kast – 2-3
125 – Dylan Amundson – 3-2
130 – Matt Tourdot – 4-1
135 – Jordan Stanek 0-5
140 – Cody Olson – 2-3
152 – Jared Rickert – 5-0
160 – Jeff Dolan – 4-1
171 – Steven Stevenson – 2-3
189 – Trevor Hutson – 5-0
215 – Quincy Degenhardt – 3-2
285 – Kevin Schmitz – 5-0

A very controversial call against Matt Tourdot where a takedown earned by Tourdot as time expired was awarded to the other wrestler cost him a chance to go 5-0 on the day and 12-0 overall on the year.

Highlights on the day included Spartan senior Jeff Dolan surpassing 100-win mark for his career.  Dolan accomplished the feat during his second match of the day against Chilton.
