Tourdot wins match vs. Bucknell

In 2005, no. 14 seed Bucknell downed no. 3 seed Kansas in one of the biggest upsets in recent NCAA basketball tournament history. Tonight, Bucknell fans had little to cheer about as Tourdot and the Old Dominion Monarchs downed the Bisons 33-3.

Matt Tourdot won his match tonight against Bucknell’s Tyler Lyster. It was the final match in the Monarch’s 33-3 victory over the Bisons of Bucknell. Using a takedown, two reversals and over five minutes of riding time, Tourdot won his match 7-0. Tourdot and Old Dominion will be back in action Friday morning at the Virginia Duals. Start time is 11am.
