The Spartans will now rest and prepare for sectionals Saturday in Waunakee. The top two finishers will advance to the state individual tournament next week beginning on Thursday. Last year, the Spartans qualified eight for the state tournament. It will be tough to match those numbers, but it’s a good sign that Sparta nearly reached double digits in sectional qualifiers this year and not a single wrestler was a senior. All these guys are coming back next year.
