Not much has changed in the rankings since we last updated you. In the Wisconsin Wrestling Online team rankings, Sparta continues to be ranked 9th in division two. The Crossface rankings, which haven’t been updated since the middle of December, still have the Spartans as an honorable mention despite finishing almost 20 points ahead of Neillsville, who is ranked 9th in D2 according to Crossface.
On the individual side, Dylan Winchel is ranked 5th at 106, John Roddick 9th at 113, Derek VonRuden 8th at 138, Toby Mosley an honorable mention at 152, Kyle Burkhalter 5th at 182 and Chris Beeler and honorable mention at 285.
We have changed the Coulee Region Power Rankings and have Holmen and Sparta tied for first. Yes, Holmen beat Sparta in a dual this past week, but on neutral territory, Sparta handled Holmen so a tie would seem fitting. Regional rivals West Salem comes in at third followed by Tomah, Cashton, Westby, Viroqua and La Crosse Logan.
