In a dual that wasn’t decided until the second to last match of the night, Sparta fell to Tomah 39-24 in a matchup of MVC rivals. The dual started out at 125 and by heavyweight Sparta had battled back from an early deficit of 18-6 to lead Tomah 24-18, but a flurry of pins by Sparta’s rivals proved to be the difference as Tomah pinned three of the next four weight classes and turned a six-point deficit into a 15-point victory.
