Sparta heads to Onalaska tonight for an MVC dual against the Hilltoppers. The Spartans own a 21-0 record against Onalaska winning every dual since the MVC was formed. While the Spartans will likely cruise to another victory tonight, the Hilltoppers do have some wrestlers that may push a few Spartans tonight. Onalaska’s biggest challenge is numbers. It will be hard for them to win any dual when they are forfeiting multiple matches every night. Despite this, they have put up some scores that show improvement compared to previous years. At 285 pounds, Chris Beeler will have his hands full with one of the Hilltopper’s better wrestlers. With a record of 12-7, Matt Hayter is the lone Onalaska wrestler with double digit victories. Beyond Hayter, there are a plethora of Onalaska wrestlers with records hovering around .500.
