Ever wanted to know Derek VonRuden’s record? Or how about how many pins Chris Beeler has on the year? Or maybe how many major decisions Michael Murnane has earned? Well, now you can. Under “Stats and Records” at the top of the page, you’ll find a link to “Current Season Stats.” Click on that and you will see wrestler’s records, how many major decisions, tech falls and pins they have and what their fastes pin of the year is. It’s a nice, quick snapshot into how a wrestler is doing.
We will still have more comprehensive stats with reversals, escapes, near falls, takedowns, etc. at the end of the season. In the meantime, keep checking back to the Current Season Stats page for up-to-date information on Sparta’s varsity wrestlers.
