The MVC/Coulee Tournament comes to Sparta on Saturday for the first time ever. Action starts at 10 a.m. in the new gym at the high school. Teams from the Coulee Conference include Arcadia, Black River Falls, Virqoua, West Salem/Bangor and Westby while it’s the usual cast of characters from the MVC.
There will be a raffle for a signed and framed Brett Favre photograph. Money raised from the raffle will go toward purchasing a new mat. Results for the tournament will be updated live at TrackWrestling while a summary of the day’s events will be available either late Saturday or early Sunday here on Spartanwrestling.com.
