Old Dominion heavyweight and Spartan alum Matt Tourdot is off to a solid start to his collegiate career. Heading into the winter break, Tourdot owns a 10-5 record while going 3-0 in his last three matches. Those matches include a 6-0 victory over Princeton’s Bobby Grogan and 3-1 victory over Rider’s Evan Craig both on December 3rd and an 8-7 decision against Rutgers’ Daniel Hopkins back on December 2nd.
Through 15 matches, Tourdot has one major decision, is 3-2 in duals and has scored 42 team points for the Monarchs. The dual against Rider on Saturday was the last competition for Old Dominion until the Southern Scuffle on January 1st.
