Spartans finish 5th at Ellsworth

The Spartans finished 5th at the Ellsworth Invitational. Logan Degenhardt was the lone champion winning the 220 pound title by injury default. Placing 2nd was Brock Polhamus at 138. 3rd place finishes were turned in by two freshmen Christian Lamon at 113 and Jaden Winchel at 132. John Roddick finished 4th at 126 as did Walker Polhamus at 170; Zak Marcellus at 120 and Justin Marx at 145 earned 6th place finishes; Lucas Peters at 182 was 7th and at 160 Logan Van Tassel was 8th.

The Spartans are back in action Thursday, December 12 with a home MVC dual agains LaCrosse Logan. JV will begin at 6:15 and varsity at 7:30.
