Here are the individual records of Sparta’s wrestlers through the Lancaster Invite.  These are varsity only and I hope I don’t miss anyone, but I might have missed a couple here and there for JV guys who might have filled in at a tournament or dual.  If that’s the case, let me know and I’ll get them up here!

One thing that sticks out is that eight of the varsity wrestlers have very similar records.  For example, five guys have records of 16-8, 17-8 or 17-9 while two have records of 18-8 or 18-7.  From top to bottom, this is the most balanced team since the 2003-04 season and one of the more balanced teams in recent history for the Spartans.  It’s still relatively early in the season and there are still four duals and four invites left on the schedule.  If things fall into place, it’s not inconceivable that there might be 7 or 8 guys on the team with 30 wins, which would certainly be a record for any Spartan wrestling team.
